SOAR 2025 – A Celebration of Magic and Movement
On Sunday 2nd November, St Mark’s Church, Sunderland was transformed into a world of wonder as Aria Art and Movement CIC hosted SOAR – an unforgettable afternoon celebrating creativity, performance, and community spirit.
The event was alive with interactive aerial shows including Down The Rabbit Hole, dazzling dance pieces, and breathtaking performances from both professional and emerging aerialists.
Visitors were invited to explore, play, and connect through movement, art, and imagination – truly embodying the Aria ethos of creativity for everyone.
From harness dance demonstrations to aerial tasters where guests could take to the air themselves, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and joy. Around every corner, there was something new to discover – from the opportunity to make Mermaid crafts to lollipop tasters, the chance to try the spiral and even exclusive SOAR merchandise and Aria calendars.
Of course, no Aria event would be complete without a touch of fantasy – the Aria Mermaids made a magical splash, joined by a stilt walker and a sea of bubbles that delighted guests of all ages. There were plenty of photo opportunities, laughter, and shared moments that will stay with us long after the day ended.
SOAR 2025 truly lived up to its promise of magic, movement, and memories – bringing together artists, performers, and audiences in a joyful celebration of creativity and connection.
But don’t worry if you missed it… the next one is already on the horizon!
